Beginning in the first week of December, the Ministry of Health and Population will allow children aged 12 to 15 years old to take Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine. The decision follows an approval from the World Health Organisation to use this vaccine on children as young as 12.
Earlier this month, Egypt gave the stamp of approval to vaccinate teenagers aged 15 to 18 with Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine. This came in effect alongside a ban on all unvaccinated students and staff from university grounds.
