COVID-19 Closing Hours to Continue Until End of May
As was the case over the Eid el-Fitr holidays, stores, malls, restaurants and cafes will need to close at 9 PM.

Egypt will continue enforcing recent precautionary measures against COVID-19 until the end of May 2021. As was the case over the Eid el-Fitr holidays, stores, malls, restaurants and cafes will need to close at 9 PM. However, all public parks and beaches will be re-opened and function as normal, provided that all other precautionary measures to confront the COVID-19 pandemic are strictly adhered to.
