First Multi-Vaccine Manufacturing Facility to Be Built in Egypt
Accredited by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and funded by investors from Saudi Arabia and the UAE, the GennVax Facility will produce 300 million vaccines per year.
Gennecs Pharmaceuticals - the pharmaceutical arm affiliated with El Daba Holding and DABATCO, an Egyptian-based import, export, trading, and engineering company - will establish a USD 150 million facility to research and produce multiple vaccines within Egypt.
Accredited by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and funded by investors from Saudi Arabia and the UAE, the GennVax Facility will produce 300 million vaccines per year, such as vaccines against HPV, Polio, and Hepatitis A and B, amongst others. The new facility is set to hold the biggest production cycle for vaccines in the region, and will be a major source of vaccines for the Middle East and Africa regions.
