Egypt to Double Funding for Green National Projects
Focusing on housing, electricity and transportation, Egypt will double funding for green projects to 30% of its investment plan by 2022, and then to 50% by 2025.

Egypt will soon double its funding for green national projects, bringing its share of the government's investment plan to 30% in 2021 and 2022, with plans to raise it further to 50% by 2024 and 2025. These projects focus on housing, electricity and transportation, and will come with a set of incentives to encourage private buyers to buy more sustainable and environmentally friendly products, like electric cars.
